I have been trying to photograph British Airways' Boeing 747 arriving into San Diego for some time now. The "Queen of the Skies" is slowly being retired from many airlines in lieu of more fuel-efficient, cost-effective and reliable wide-body aircraft. I wanted to photograph it one more time to remember the aircraft that changed aviation history.
The Boeing 747 is the largest regular-scheduled aircraft to fly into San Diego International Airport (Lindbergh Field) and what better way to photograph it than with the iconic San Diego Aerospace Museum.
